On this page you will find all the protocols we used on the platform for DNA
microarrays. All the references and suppliers mentioned in this protocol are
the one we use and recommend. There is no obligation to use these particular
products and suppliers.

Washing steps after
pre-hybridization:
In
this movie we show you a washing method using 50ml Falcon tubes. You will
also see how to eliminate isopropanol excess of the slide at the last
washing step after pre-hybridization.

hybridization:
This
movie show how to prepare the hybridization chamber, to deposit the labelled

The first washing
step :
In
this movie you will see how to do the first washing step after water bath
microarray incubation. This stage is very important because it's the moment
where the coverslip is tearing off the slide. It is very important when
the coverslip fall out at the bottom of the Falcon tube to turn inside
out the slide to avoid any contact between the DNA spots and the coversplip.

On
this movie you will see the slide drying step. The drying technique we
use rely on slide centrifugation in 96 wells microplates carrier.

DNA microarray lecture
on GenePix 4000 scanner:
This
movie aimed at explain how to correctly adjust the slide inside the scanner.
Indeed, if the slide is not correctly adjust (label on the top), the grid
will not give you the correct spot position and the result interpretation
you will be wrong.
